I have to start out admitting that I have been horrible at taking pictures over the last few weeks, and for that I am super sad!
We moved at the beginning of July! It was a long 5 days as we trekked across the country! I want to thank Scott for driving the Jeep and the trailer the whole 5 days! The trailer could only go 55 on the freeway and usually could only go about 35 on any big hills, which only got worse as we hit the Rockies!
I attempted to drive the jeep with the trailer attached once but it swayed so much that I was sure that I was going to roll the jeep and the trailer! I was so scared that my heart was racing the whole 10 minutes that I helped drive! I am grateful to my beautiful sister-in-law Crystal who was such a trooper the whole trip. She helped pack, and she helped drive (even thought she wasn't 16 yet!!!) :)
We camped two nights and stayed in hotels two nights, the last night was spent at the Pugh's cabin in the Uintah Mountains. The last night before the cabin, we camped at a little spot called Mormon Island. It was apparently named because it was a winter stopover used by Mormon emigrants heading westward. It was a neat little spot but was miserable because of these little bloodsuckers!

There were so many of them. We all suffered from several bites, and they were brutal! We also thought it was going to be a clear night, so we didn't put the fly on the tent. It started raining in the middle of the night and we had to get up and put the fly on. Everything got soaked inside the tent and in the car carrier that we left open on the jeep.
Since being home I have spent time with some dear friends including Miss Kari Campbell, Miss Chelsey Butchereit, Miss Meili Ware, Miss Brittany Hammond and of course my wonderful family! Scott has spent the last two weeks working with his brother Jason in New Mexico.
I believe you left someone out of your "dear friends" list ;)
