Scott and I FINALLY made it to the "Big Apple." After almost a whole year of waiting we finally made the 2 1/2 hr trip down south. We drove to the city and then parked the car at a garage ($42 parking fee + additional SUV fee + 18% tax=$52.00 later) and then walked the rest of the day. There was a lot of honking and yelling at each other and a lot of crazy taxi drivers. The highlight of the day was people watching in Central Park and the Broadway play (Phantom of the Opera). Scott loved the Museum of Natural History, but by that time my feel hurt so bad I didn't appreciate it as much. I was kind of disappointed because I thought it would be like "Night at the Museum" but it didn't even have the t-rex in the lobby, there were no mummies and Teddy Roosevelt was out front. Needless to say, I can check off seeing a broadway play off my "bucket list." Below are highlights of our day.
Times Square (Someday I want to visit there for New Years!)
We didn't actually go to the LATE Show...we just thought it would be a cool picture!
Below are pictures of the Trump Building and Atlas (Scott made us walk all over for the Atlas picture)
Below are pictures of Central Park. It was one of the best places ever! There were people playing instruments and people dancing...there were so many people to watch, and so much to see!
