The NY Experience

We moved to NY because Scott decided to do a dental residency at the Stratton, VA located in Albany NY.  He works on all kinds of Vets, many of them being homeless.  The fact that we ended up in Albany was an adventure itself as we weren't even sure if Scott was going to finish his dental school requirements on time.  I guess we were meant to be here.

Here's the outside of the VA.

I have spent the year working at Albany High School as a Behavioral Specialist.  It's been quite the adventure working at an inner city high school.  The kids are so colorful (in language, clothing, and skin).  Working at AHS will be something I will never forget!  I think the thing that I learned the most is that there is good wherever you go.  I have enjoyed my coworkers (for the most part) and have enjoyed learning from them!  Go Falcons!
