Boston a place, not just a name!

So, we decided to take a trip to Boston over the weekend. We spent most of our time in the township of Concord.  So much history happened at Concord.
The first official battle of the Revolutionary War took place at North Bridge.  Along with the start of the revolutionary war....many literary stars called Concord home.
We stopped at Louisa May Alcott's home (otherwise known as Jo) who wrote the book "Little Women."  Scott was the only male on our tour and experienced complete "demanification."  It was interesting to learn the history behind the writing of Little Women.  Louisa's father was very liberal in his thinking but was unable to manage money.  He created a "school of philosophy," which included several other thinkers such as Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson.

We spent time in the Old Manse where Nathaniel Hawthorne lived with his wife.  They often wrote love notes to each other on the window with their wedding rings.
Hope you enjoy the picures.  We sure had a lot of fun!
